The North West Training Consortium is a collaborative arrangement between the five Probation Areas of Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside and provides a range of learning and development activities for staff in these Probation Areas and in the wider Justice Sector.

We are part of a national quality network of Training Consortia. Our work at this level contributes to and influences the direction of learning in the Justice Sector. National Occupational Standards underpin all our activities.
